Welcome to my shiny new site

I am delighted to welcome you here and invite you for a tour around my new website, which I have affectionately named summerdahlia.com 2.0.

Actually, after lots of tweaking and tinkering, I hope the menus and navigation are intuitive enough for you to find your own way round without a tour. So here is a list of key features – highlights, new things I’ve added, and things I’ve changed from my previous site:

Why did you bother making a new site, your old one was fine?

Great question. I had vague notions of building a new site at some point in the future because I found a new site builder that I much preferred to the one I had used to for Summer 1.0, and wanted to make use of that.

However, before those thoughts had materialised into any action, the decision to rebuild was expedited in a blunt and forceful manner by the bull-a-china-shop legislation that our industry has been ravaged by this year, otherwise known as the Online Safety Act.

In August 2025, when the practical restrictions around accessing online adult content came into effect in the UK, I was suddenly and unexpectedly denied access to my previous website host, and my poor website was left to sofa surf for a few weeks, as it went trudging all round the internet in search of a new permanent home.

But at last, we have got the keys to our very own, nice and comfy cloud, and hope to have a long and happy stay here. Many thanks to my patient and supportive regular clients who have (un)sympathetically listened to me moaning throughout the process. We got there eventually!
